The craft
How your neon sign is made
We start with your artwork, map the tubing path, and hand-bend flexible LED silicone to trace every letter and curve. It's mounted on an optical-grade, laser-cut acrylic backboard, wired with concealed cabling, then bench-tested for an even, flicker-free glow before it's carefully packed.

Every sign sits on a laser-cut acrylic backboard, and how we cut it changes the whole character of the piece — from a clean panel that frames the glow to letters that look painted straight onto the wall. The workhorse
Cut to square
A clean rectangular panel behind the whole sign. It's the strongest build and the kindest on price, and in clear acrylic it reads as a faint edge once the neon is lit — pick frosted or a colour and it becomes part of the design.
Best for: Block fonts, big installs and tighter budgets
The best of both
Cut to shape
One continuous piece of acrylic follows the outline of the whole design. You keep most of the floating look, but the sign stays a single sturdy panel — easier to hang straight and far happier travelling to you in one piece.
Best for: Phrases, multi-word signs and larger pieces
The invisible one
Cut to letter
We cut the acrylic around every individual letter, leaving only a few millimetres of border. Step back and the backboard all but disappears — the words read as pure light on the wall. It's the most intricate cut and the most striking finish.
