Which Sign Type Fits
We make four sign types, and they are not interchangeable. These are the ones that suit this environment, and why.

What Changes in This Environment
The specification decisions that are worth making before fabrication, because they are expensive or impossible to change afterwards.
Mount clear of the drop zone
A sign over a platform or rack takes impact eventually. Specify the mounting height against the loaded-bar path rather than against head height, and keep standoffs off any wall panel a lifting frame is bolted through.
Vibration is the real load
Dropped deadlifts shake a wall continuously for years. Fixings want to land in studs or solid substrate rather than plasterboard anchors, and the backing plate should be sized for the sign's span rather than its weight.
Brightness against gym lighting
Training floors run high ambient light, so a sign that reads well in a showroom can wash out here. Larger stroke widths and stronger colour saturation hold up better than a thin script at the same wattage.
Cleanability
Sweat and chalk settle on any horizontal edge. Silicone neon and sealed acrylic wipe down with a damp cloth; open-backed constructions with exposed channels do not, and we do not specify them for gym floors.

Are gym neon signs safe to mount above weights?
Our LED neon is flexible silicone tubing running at 12V, not glass at mains voltage — there is nothing to shatter onto a lifting platform and the tube stays cool to touch. We still recommend mounting clear of the loaded-bar path, and we will mark that height on the mockup if you send a photo of the wall.
Will a wall sign survive the vibration from dropped weights?
That depends far more on the fixing than on the sign. We size a backing plate to the sign's span and specify fixings into studs or solid substrate rather than plasterboard anchors. Tell us the wall construction when you request the mockup and we will spec the mount with it.
How large should a motivational sign be for a big training floor?
Work back from the furthest point you want it read from. As a working rule for illuminated lettering, allow roughly one inch of letter height for every 25 feet of viewing distance at night, and more in a brightly lit daytime gym. Send us the floor dimensions and we will size it on the mockup.
Can you match our studio's brand colours?
Yes. We match Pantone, HEX and CMYK references, so a sign lands on the same colour as your app, your kit and your signage elsewhere. Send the brand guide or the exact reference with your enquiry.
Do gym signs come with a warranty?
Every sign we make carries a 5-year warranty. If you are fitting out multiple sites, say so at quote stage so the pieces are built from one production batch and the colours match across locations.
